Six years ago my daughter Amy was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. As if being a teenager wasn't challenging enough!!

I won't win this half-marathon. But I will complete it - and for each kilometer that passes I'll know I'm doing my bit to help Diabetes Victoria in their quest to help and support others who have been struck down with T1D.

These aren't easy times and I'll be truly grateful for any donation - as will Amy as we look to find a cure
